"it's coffee house"

euphemisms....they are great.  In the last 3 months I have introduced, to only a small circle of people, euphemisms that I use on a somewhat, or sometimes nonfrequent basis.  Please tell me if you have heard any of these...

"copacabana".....- this one only gets recognition because it is the most frequently mangled and is rarely ever pronounced as it should be.  but really, it doesnt count.  i just used it one night saying, "it'll be our own copacabana"  and it has been a joke ever since.

"lets blow this taco stand"

"johnny on the spot"

"it makes it/them pop" -Speaking on bright colors against dark colors...such as the lettering on tires.

these really aren't all that popular, but feel free to share some others.

On an unrelated note, i failed AGAIN, in achieving my full costume potential.  I tried to dress up like a hippie, ok?  I had a long, black, rasta whig, with a bandana over it.  Old man flannel shirt.  Hemp necklace, leather bracelet, and hippie jeans.....AND STILL I GOT REFERRED TO AS "THE WOMAN OF THE NIGHT."  just for reference, last year i tried to dress up like a red neck....yea...i just kept getting asked why i was so dirty all night long....i didn't really think you could go wrong with costumes...owell........

Two years failed...TWO.....im not quite sure that i'll be dressing up next year...BUT, I do give props to my coworker joe, with the best costume of the night.  He took a flowery bedsheet and cut holes in it for eyes.  The traditional ghost costume right?  WRONG, he was definitely the homosexual ghost of the night.  He kept running around saying, "don't let the flowers fool you......Boooo" and everything else he could say in his most feminine voice.  It was amazing....so, props to joe laguardia for the best costume all in....forever.  well...

yes, it has been that long

for everyone who hasnt seen it coming, i have kinda....slightly given up on all these online things.  They are good for keeping up with friends from home or college, but, in the case of my job; they just arent good.  Recent things have gone on here in georgia that have made me limit my time on these online venues.  SOOO...dont take it personal if i havent talked to anyone of you in a while.  The business of life has kept me from my phone (unless you are immediate family) but even then...im bad about answering...but, i will still always do my best.  AND IF YOU ARE FROM ALLEN,    please give me a call because chances are I have lost your number seeing as how i my phone broke a while back and i had to get a new one that couldnt replace my numbers....in short,  all is going well here in georgia and i hope everyone else is enjoying themselves wherever they may be.  Remain in God in all everything that you do and he will guide and grow you into the person you need to be.  John 15.  "I am the vine, and you are the brances."

Cue: School House Rock!

School starts today.  Its funny how "cleeshay" ( i have no frickin idea how to spell it, so sounding it out will work for now) that phrase is.  I almost feel honored, or normal, to be able to say it.  At the same time I wish i didnt have to say it because some how i was able to skip 4 years of my life and be done.  For the record, and for anyone out there who feels like they have been in college forever and will never finish, ive been in for FOUR YEARS and am still not done....so dont worry about it.  but yea, my semester starts in approx. 2 hours.  strap in and hold on to your money 'cuz its gonna be a wild ride!  My prayer for this semester is for God to grow me and use me, or just show me something completely crazy good that I havent seen before.  I dont know, when, or where, that will happen, but i hope it does.  But i also pray, that it wont be as painful as some of the previous events of last semester (i hate money).  but yea, i hope everyone does well and experiences everything with a new and fresh start this semester.  Good luck to everyone!

group activities = no work

today i went to lunch at the highschool.  it was the first day of school and was good to see all the kids back in school.  after that, me, adam and a bunch of kids that now all have off periods went to taco bell.  man, i had  no motivation to go to work.  all these kids are talkin about sittin on their butts the rest of the day....man...i long for those days when all i had was a few hours of school and then went home to do whatever i wanted the rest of the day...oh man...only another sign of being an adult in today's world....  for the record i wasnt complaining, merely contemplating.
